Curious Onlookers

It started with one giraffe. Then his other long-necked friends joined to get a better look.

What was so interesting that captivated them?

A pride of five sleepy lions with their cub.

While his parents seemed oblivious, the cub took notice long enough to break from nursing.

We looked back and forth from giraffes to lions, not knowing how the scene would unfold. Fortunately for the giraffes, these full-bellied lions continued to doze.

It's just another day in the African bush.
