Ostrich Crossing

Interesting birds flock to the Cape Town area. We found this ostrich trio near the beach as we rounded the corner to see the Cape of Good Hope. We also visited African pengiuns on another beach as part of our peninsula tour.

Cape Town and South Africa surprised us. Cosmopolitan, sophisticated yet wild at heart, friendly and stunningly beautiful are a few descriptions that come to mind.

You could easily spend weeks exploring the area with its wine country, beaches, nature reserves and other attractions.

Just as unexpected as finding an ostrich family on the beach, Cape Town is full of surprises. Enjoy discovering each one.
